Doha, October 31, 2023

Today the Ecuadorian Pavilion at the Expo Doha 2023/2024 was inaugurated by the Ambassador of Ecuador to the State of Qatar, H E Mr. Pascual del Cioppo, and the Secretary General H E Mr. Mohammed Al Khoury.

The Pavilion will remain open with varied exhibitions until April 1, 2024. Products such as bananas, roses, pitahaya, cocoa, coffee, will be permanent and every month there will be conferences by Ecuadorian specialists on the advantages in production, traceability, and care for the environment in all plantations. Ecuador will also exhibit the quality and unique flavor of Ecuadorian shrimp.

In the coming weeks, plastic artists, singers, the artisan weaver of toquilla straw, presentation of the history of cocoa in a conference will come to Doha as guests for the Pavilion, since, according to studies carried out, it is shown that the Theobroma Cacao variety was domesticated in the upper Amazon.

In this way and at no cost to the Country, the Ecuador Pavilion will be open to the world from today until April 2024.
