Parliamentary Group of Friendship and Cooperation Brazil – Ecuador will visit the country
The Ambassador of Ecuador in Brazil, Horacio Sevilla Borja, said on Sunday March 30 will travel to Ecuador a large delegation of the Brazilian Congress to hold meetings with the President of the National Assembly and Assembly member Mary Veronica Rodriguez Delgado, President of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group and Coordination Ecuador – Brazil of the National Assembly of Ecuador (GIPACEB).
The Brazilian delegation of the newly created Inter-Parliamentary Group of Friendship and Cooperation Brazil-Ecuador will be chaired by Deputy Victor Paulo, representative of the State of Rio de Janeiro by the Brazilian Republican Party (PRB). Also part of the delegation the Deputies Eurico Junior, Green Party (PV), Rio de Janeiro and Edinho Bez, Brazilian Democratic Movement Party (PMDB), Santa Catarina.
Brazilian parliamentarians who remain in the country until April 4 will have an intense work schedule that includes meetings with national authorities in the cities of Quito and Manta to discuss various topics related to the working plan of the Inter-Parliamentary Group, management and handling of protected areas, and Multimodal Project Manta- Manaos. Also maintain dialogues with fishing and commercial sectors in respect of income of Ecuadorian products to Brazil and made visits to the Port of Manta and the Pacific Refinery.
This will be the first official bilateral meeting of parliamentary groups of friendship and cooperation between Ecuador and Brazil.
